Services & Pricing

From incorporation to day-to-day operations, we provide everything you need under one roof — cutting the cost and hassle of coordinating multiple advisors. We also work with a network of partner attorneys, tax accountants, judicial scriveners (shihoshoshi), and administrative scriveners (gyoseishoshi) for specialized matters.

Please note that Japanese law prohibits an unqualified party from intermediating between a licensed professional and a client to take a margin. For work we are not legally permitted to handle ourselves, we therefore refer you to licensed professionals at no referral fee. If there is a specific licensed professional you would like to work with, please let us know and we will accommodate that.

If you face few barriers in establishing and running a company, your fee may be lower than the listed amount when you engage us, or in some cases we may simply refer you to a licensed professional without providing our own services (and therefore without any fee to us).

Opening a corporate bank account is the single hardest step in this process. Due to tightened anti-money-laundering and fraud-prevention screening in recent years, banks typically require: (1) valid Japanese residency status, (2) an explanation of your business in Japanese, (3) an in-person branch visit by the representative director, and (4) documentation or a website proving your business is real. This makes account opening especially difficult for applicants living outside Japan or without strong Japanese language skills.

We support the corporate bank account opening process. If none of your directors are Japan-based residents and this becomes a barrier to opening an account, talk to us — we're happy to discuss your options.
